From Public Health, Seattle & King County:

Beginning March 1, 2022, an updated version of the Washington State Food Code took effect. Public Health – Seattle & King County’s Food Protection Program created a new Food Code updates webpage that covers what to expect and includes a series of factsheets to clearly explain the changes. Updates to the food code include date marking, vomit and diarrhea cleanup plans, employee health (informing the person in charge) and more.

These food code changes took effect March 1, 2022. The Certified Food Protection Manager requirement will take effect March 1, 2023. The code changes are reflected on our new food code webpage.

Found an interesting YouTube extension recently called LingTube.

It can translate YouTube subtitles in real time, but the more impressive part is that it also works on videos without captions by recognizing speech automatically. After translating, it can read the translated text aloud with AI voices, so you can listen instead of constantly reading subtitles.

The bilingual subtitle mode is useful for language learning, and it also works nicely for long-form content like podcasts, tutorials, interviews, lectures, and news videos.

There’s also an AI summary feature that can quickly break down long videos into key points and timestamps, which saves a lot of time when watching educational or technical content.

Overall it feels much more convenient than traditional subtitle-only translation…
