VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: August 22 – September 1
The City of Issaquah is excited to participate in the NW Trolls project by artist Thomas Dambo. An important part of this project is inviting the community to help build the troll, alongside the artist team, August 22 - September 1. Please note, all volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult volunteer. We will follow up with a link to a volunteer waiver and additional instructions, closer to your volunteer time.
All volunteers will meet at the Issaquah Community Center (301 Rainier Blvd S, Issaquah, WA 98027) at the beginning of the shift.
I really appreciate how this project brings communities together through creativity. While reading about the volunteers carving the trolls, I kept thinking about how outdoor installations like these interact with changing weather.
