"Our volunteer boards and commissions do important work — but they can’t do it without you.
Serving on a City board or commission is a fun, interesting and impactful way to make a difference in our community. Of our many boards and commission, we are currently accepting applications for open seats on the Human Services Commission and the Development Commission.
To learn more about our boards and commissions, and to apply, go to issaquahwa.gov/apply. The application deadline is 5 p.m. Sept. 11, 2020.
Following the interview process, appointments will be made by the mayor and confirmed by the City Council. Terms for those appointed will begin in Oct. 2020.
Questions? Contact the City Clerk’s Office via email or at 425-837-3000.
The City of Issaquah strives to have diverse boards and commissions that are representative of the community we serve. We value a variety of perspectives and life experiences and encourage people of all backgrounds to apply. We believe diversity and inclusion among our board and commission members is critical to the success of our City."

Heartfelt thanks for launching Maiya Samman Yojana and Atal Pension Yojana. Both schemes provide great support to needy citizens. Maiya Samman Yojana empowers women financially, and Atal Pension Yojana guarantees monthly pension after old age. These initiatives reduce financial stress and increase dignity among families. I strongly recommend people, especially workers and women, to enroll and take advantage. Such welfare programs truly improve living standards and social security across the country.

At Geometry Dash some service businesses worry they’ll be less competitive vs out-of-state providers who don’t pay this tax (or can structure differently).

I think volunteering for city boards is such a meaningful way to give back. It reminds me of 99 Nights in the Forest, where every small effort contributes to a bigger journey, and serving your community can be just as rewarding as discovering new paths in a game.
