WELCOME TO THE 2026 SALMON DAYS GRANDE PARADE!
The Greater Issaquah Chamber of Commerce is proud to present Salmon Days, Washington's Largest Two-Day Festival!
Our 2026 theme, "Stars, Stripes & Salmon," celebrates patriotism, community, and our shared heritage while honoring the brave men and women who have served, and continue to serve, in our nation's Armed Forces. We encourage parade participants to embrace this year's theme with creative displays of red, white, and blue as we celebrate our country, our community, and the traditions that make Salmon Days so special.
The Salmon Days Parade tradition began with the very first Festival in 1970, when beloved Northwest television personalities J.P. Patches and Gertrude led a children's parade through downtown Issaquah. As the Festival continued to grow, the Grande Parade was introduced in 1980, coinciding with Salmon Days becoming a Seafair-sanctioned festival. Today, the 2026 Grande Parade marks its 47th year, while continuing a parade tradition that spans 57 years.
For generations of families, Salmon Days has become a cherished annual tradition, and the Grande Parade remains one of the Festival's most anticipated and beloved events. We are committed to providing a fun, safe, and family-friendly experience for everyone.
To help ensure a successful parade, we ask that all participants carefully review and comply with the following Parade Rules & Regulations. Thank you for helping us make the 2026 Issaquah Salmon Days Grande Parade a safe, memorable, and patriotic celebration for our community.

Applications submitted on or before September 22, 2026, do not require an entry fee.
Applications received after the deadline will be required to pay a $150 late fee.

Parade Route
Starting at Confluence Park, the parade will proceed down Rainier Blvd N, before turning onto NW Dogwood St, and turning again to proceed north on Front St. Finally, participants will turn right and head down the south side of NE Gilman Blvd before reaching the dispersal area. Parade participants will proceed from the end of the parade back toward the start via NE Dogwood St.
