Monica Harmon has recently joined our team at the Greater Issaquah Chamber of Commerce as the new Business & Government Relations Manager. Monica, a native of the Pacific Northwest, was born and raised in Seattle. She has lovingly raised her four children in the region, sharing her home with a Golden Retriever and two cats.
With a career deeply rooted in the greater Seattle area, Monica has amassed decades of experience spanning business consulting, the restaurant and hospitality industry, and government affairs. She excels in understanding and surpassing the unique needs of diverse businesses, leveraging her expertise in sales, account management, and business development. Monica's national-level background in marketing and advertising has allowed her to cultivate strong client relationships and referral networks. Renowned for her integrity, dedication, and commitment to helping businesses thrive, Monica ensures every interaction is characterized by seamless, successful outcomes and unparalleled customer service.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Monica finds joy in cooking for loved ones, exploring new restaurants, attending community festivals, traveling, enjoying music, wine tasting, and immersing herself in the vibrant local arts scene. She passionately supports Seattle's sports teams—the Mariners, Sounders, Seahawks, and Kraken—attending games or watching them on TV whenever possible.
