The Greenbelt Gallery
Be sure to include the Greenbelt Gallery to your Salmon Days experience - shopping, sampling and a swinging good time! Watch for the 2013 lineup coming this summer.
In 2012, silks, soda samples, Sister Cities, sweet alpacas, sausages, silver, spawnsors, soaps, steel, students, sleek Greyhounds, sweaters and a swinging stage, were just some of the stunning art work, service groups, succulent food, and sounds to be found in the Greenbelt Gallery. This reenergized garden-like setting by City Hall South on Rainier Blvd. and 1st Ave. SE, was packed with fresh and stimulating booths, displays, and music for your entertainment.
Visitors stopped by Naked Juice for delicious samples, got their geek on at the Issaquah Robotics Society booth driving a robot, and animal lovers admired alpacas and greyhounds while shopping for hand-made pet accessories. They enjoyed great bands at the Rainier Blvd. Stage (our main stage), learned about Issaquah’s Sister Cities of Chefchaouen, Kingdom of Morocco from the American Moroccan International Exchange & Sister City Commission and Sunndal, Norway from the Sons of Norway. Hungers were satisfied at Ziegler’s Bratwurst Haus, Fairy Floss Cotton Candy, the Chase Honey Co., Jerky Hut and Brevin’s Solid Gold Fudge. Plus, the Greenbelt Gallery is a great relaxing area to shop and take the opportunity to get to know several dozen wonderfully creative artisans!
